Natural Stone in Construction and Renovation, Totem encoding, and feedback from experience
In partnership with Pierres et Marbres de Wallonie

Description
Join us for a captivating webinar on showcasing natural stone in construction and renovation.
This will be presented in two parts:
On April 16 2025, discover the advantages of stone compared to other materials and explore the unique position of Belgian stone in relation to international stones.
Our speakers will present their methodological approach regarding the lifecycle, energy, and carbon footprint of materials, with special attention to stone.
They will detail both specific and generic EPDs (Environmental Product Declarations) and their integration into Totem.
You will also learn how to encode stone data into Totem with practical examples and comparisons.
On April 23 2025, our speaker, an architect from the Erpicum office, will share their experience of showcasing stone in construction or renovation, presenting practical situations illustrated by photos.
He will explain the material choices made and detail the analysis criteria that guided these decisions.
Challenges encountered during project execution will also be discussed, along with the innovative solutions implemented to overcome them.
This presentation will shed light on the benefits of using stone while highlighting concrete examples and creative approaches.
